Job description

We are recruiting for Mobile Security Officers to join our busy team!

Locations:Essex

The Role

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the rail infrastructure. Patrolling rail access points/ platforms and station areas to deter vandalism and trespass.

  • Respond to alarms and emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.

  • Enforce access control procedures, verifying the identity of individuals entering or exiting the area.

  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns.

  • Write detailed incident reports documenting any security-related incidents or violations

  • Building relationships and working closely with stakeholder partners, Network Rail, British transport police and Samaritans.

Experience:

  • SIA licence is essential.        

  • PTS ( Personal track safety) desirable but not essential

  • Full UK Driving License, hled for 2 years + 

  • Must be over 21

  • Familiarity with security and basic first aid procedures is a plus.

  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.

  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
