Job description
Vital are looking for a Security Operative to join our team! Location - Harlow, Essex
The role
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the rail infrastructure. Patrolling rail access points/ platforms and station areas to deter vandalism and trespass. Shifts will be6am - 6pm
Respond to alarms and emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
Enforce access control procedures, verifying the identity of individuals entering or exiting the area.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns.
Write detailed incident reports documenting any security-related incidents or violations.
Building relationships and working closely with stakeholder partners, Network Rail, British Transport Police and Samaritans.
Experience:
SIA licence is essential.
PTS (Personal track safety) desirable but not essential.
Full driving licence essential.
Familiarity with security and basic first aid procedures are a plus.
Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
