JOB ROLE: Technical Clerk / Document Controller
Location of Project: Cheshire
Hours: between 45-50hrs - With optonal weekeds as the project progresses
Start date: 24 Months
Rates : All hours Mon - Fri £25ph
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Clerk to join our client's team on a Waste To Energy construction project in the North West. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office by performing various clerical and administrative tasks. This position requires strong organisational skills, proficiency in computer applications, and a commitment to maintaining accurate records. You will be introduced by Vital as the agency.
The project will be offering 45-50hrs per week with optional weekends available as the project progresses, and will be running for 18-24 months.
Responsibilities
- Manage weekly time sheets from site for payroll purposes.
- Liaising with HR Department for onboarding personnel to site
- Document control, including Handover Documentation
- Material management/purchasing
- Filing Daily and Weekly Reports
Skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
- Proven experience as Technical Clerk on previous projects.
